  • What is @SEA?

@SEA is the abbreviation of Site Environmental Awareness. By itself it is a paginated, professional, 50 to 90 pages length report (PDF document) that contains a few dozens of multi-decade environmental and climate parameters and their derivatives visualised into actionable insights suitable for project planning in any geographic location worldwide.   • How can I be sure that the data is trustworthy?

We took our data from dozens of legitimate institutions such CMEMS, EModNet, JAXA, ERA5 and others that have collected global environmental data over the past few decades. We have made significant investment to select and verify the best data sources and developed processing techniques allowing us to convert the data into usable formats and statistical derivatives by preserving the data integrity in the same time.

  • In what languages is @SEA report available?

Currently the @SEA report content is only available in English. But we are working on enabling additional languages in the future.

  • Is my interest for a certain location being kept confidential?

We do not see, send or use your data. The information you enter in the form is processed automatically to create the title page of the report and digital assets included in the report. See our Privacy Policy page for details. We are fully compliant with GDPR as legitimate business registered and operating from Finland internationally.

  • Can I get a refund?

Our company does not offer refunds on our @SEA reports. The digital products offered through our platform are made to order and are highly customized, so they are excluded from refunds once the checkout process has been completed.

However, if there is any problem with the delivery or product quality, please contact us and we will resolve the issue. See the Product Terms section for more information.

  • I don’t have access to my account. I don’t remember my password, but I can’t restore it because I don’t have access to my email anymore.

Unfortunately, our security measures require that users be logged in to make any changes to their accounts, including resetting a password. If you no longer have access to the email associated with your account, we are unable to assist you in resetting your password.

In this case, we recommend creating a new account with a new email address. 

  • I didn’t receive my report / My report isn’t shown properly.

If you didn’t receive your report, we encourage you to check your junk email folder, as sometimes our emails may end up there.

If you have already checked your junk email folder and the report still hasn’t arrived, please allow up to 24 hours for delivery. If you still haven’t received the report after 24 hours, or if you are having trouble viewing the report properly, please contact us via the “Contact Us” form on our website. Our support team will be happy to assist you and ensure that you receive the report you have purchased as soon as possible.

  • I have some payment issues / My payment isn’t going through.

Please note that our company does not handle payments directly and we use a third-party service for processing transactions. As a result, we are unable to assist with any payment-related issues.

However, we recommend trying to make the payment again. Sometimes payment issues can be resolved simply by trying again later or by using a different payment method. We also recommend contacting your bank or payment provider to ensure there are no issues with your account or payment method.

  • I experience some technical problem with my report.

If you’re experiencing technical problems with your report, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible. To get in touch with us, please use the Contact Us form on our website and provide a detailed explanation of the problem you’re experiencing.

Purchase, Checkout & Delivery Guidelines

A quick guide to the buying process.

In order to purchase a report, we ask you to fill out several fields. It is used in a page-by-page PDF markdown title’s page, automatically generated during production. We do not see, use or send this information to third parties. The content of the report is currently available in English only.

Location Name – can be anything, free-form, for your reference.
Prepared For – the name of the person or the company the data report is ordered for.
As Requested By – the name of the person or the company who requested the report.

Longitude and Latitude – you are required to enter an accurate set of longitude and latitude. Use only reliable sources with properly allocated geospatial coordinates. This is an important note because many third-party services widely use interpolation instead of correct mapping. A set of coordinates is the only input determining the location, the data for which is provided in the report after the order is placed. The location coordinates must be entered as high precision latitude and longitude in the range of -90 to 90 degrees and -180 to 180 degrees respectively. We recommend using at least 4 digits after comma. Example – Västervik: Lat: 63.1485 | Lon: 21.5590

Select License – There are 3 types of licenses. Select one that is applicable to your case.

Private license is only suitable for personal use. Not suitable for commercial entities.
Commercial license is suitable for commercial entities and allows report to be shared amongst internal users. It contains everything included to Private license and some extras: Vessel Density, Protected & Areas (for available countries, see list) and digital assets. It is one-time royalty-free purchase.
Premium license allows the report to be shared among multiple customers and users online. It requires the domain name where report data will be in use (e.g. Company’s CMS).

Price & Add To Card – The prices you see when you add product to cart is the price excluding any Taxes and Fees. As a legal business operating in Finland, we have to add taxes and fees when applicable. You will see the final price and details during checkout, after selecting the billing country.

Checkout & Delivery process details:

You will see full price after you press “Proceed to Checkout” button in the cart.

As soon as you filled in the form, added to cart and proceed to payment, our system starts to produce your customised order.

Immediately after payment, you will get a notification about order received and invoice for your records.

After some time (in rare cases it can take up to several hours) you will receive another email notifying you that your order is complete. This email will take you to your @SEA orders dashboard, where you can click on the order and find the link to download your report. It will be available for download for 1 year after the purchase date.

In a general sense, @SEA is the one-time royalty-free purchase. The premium license length is 3 years and can be extended separately
